Words can only express all that Nan Free has done for us. She sold our property and found us a place to move, and helped with so many details before and after the move. She is so attentive to our needs. I consider her a true friend and appreciate the many long hours of work she has done to help us while my wife had surgery and I was trying to move us and visit her in the hospital. Amazing, caring, and compassionate is how I would describe Nan Free! She put in several months to sell our home and find another one! She always was available, answering her cell phone right away, with encouraging words and easing our concerns. I had a major surgery coming up on top of some other serious situations. I started packing and labeling boxes for the rooms they would go in. On the day of the move, Nan hired the Starving Students to move all the furniture and boxes. She helped with the clothes, shoes and whatever needed to be taken. Nan worked with our friends getting a lot of things put away in our new place and making our bed up. Whatever the need was, she was there! I am out of the hospital and recovering. Nan is still doing things for us and calling to check on us. I consider her not only our Realtor, but our friend! We love and appreciate her so much!

Nan is amazing! As a first-time homebuyer and active-duty Coast Guard officer, I had no idea where to begin. My parents’ realtor from Maryland, Bill Burris, recommended Nan to help me with my home purchase. Amidst being deployed on a cutter for 3 months with limited internet/phone accessibility, and re-locating to Long Beach promptly upon my return, Nan kept thorough communication with me. She provided every available resource and walked me through the entire home-buying process. Nan dedicated 10 days straight of house-hunting with me, and provided excellent advice of location, home condition, pricing, and more. Having never seen a contract before, she guided me through every page of the contract and thoroughly answered any question I had. As any VA Loan user can attest, there are many “fine print” details when it comes to purchasing a condominium. She is very passionate about her job, and her positivity is contagious (even during the exhausting house hunt). We hired Nan as our agent after firing another agent with whom we were unhappy. The transaction was difficult, as we were purchasing a short sale property, so we had to overcome many obstacles. Nan gave us advice and handled the negotiations appropriately and efficiently, always following through on her fiduciary responsibility, as well as explaining all the steps throughout the entire real estate transaction. No matter what the question or request, she was always there to help us out - and happily at that. She did a fantastic job negotiating, protecting us, informing us of what was going on and what was to happen from beginning to end and letting us know of potential problems while giving us options to resolve those problems. Communication was always outstanding, either through email, text, or phone, and we always received a response within minutes. She is also very organized, detail-oriented, is very polite, patient, and so nice and is so fun to be around that she makes anyone and everyone feel comfortable. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home who requires a dedicated and honest Realtor. Nan's work is exceptional. Even after escrow closed, we still keep in touch.
